Hello Sweeties! It's time for Polish Pickup September 2021!
If you don't already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group where makers create a polish/product based on a certain theme and all of the polish/products are sold in the Polish Pickup store at the beginning of each month. Customers then get to pick which polishes/products they want and pay a flat rate shipping! (shipping info at the bottom of the posts)
The September 2021 theme is Trick or Treat!

All Mixed Up Lacquers-Double, Bubble, Toil & Crafting Trouble
Inspired by a witchy cauldron decoration. Described as a black(cool) to clear(warm) thermal, loaded with teal/ purple shifting shimmers thats make the polish appear blurple in its cold state and when warm the polish is clear but with blue/teal/purple shimmer. Plus all the sparkle of different sizes and shapes in violet, orange, green and black holos. Shown here in 2 coats, plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Dries with a good amount of texture so I sealed this with 1 coat of Glitter Grabber plus 1 coat of a fast dry top coat.

Inspired by Inflatable Halloween lawn decorations. Described as a purple jelly polish packed with multichrome flakies, shifting from green to blue to purple with flashes of red and gold. Baby Girl Lacquer-Frankie's BOO-Thang
Inspired by1935's Bride Of Frankenstein. Described as a dark gray(cool) to light gray(warm) thermal, glow in the dark crelly with assorted shimmer pigments, UCC flakies, holo and iridescent glitters, plus holo shards. Shown here in 3 coats, plus top coat. Formula was sheer. Dries with some texture so a top coat is needed for a full, glossy finish. My thermal got burnt out in transit due to the summer heat so unfortunately I'm only able to show it in its warm state.

Baroness X-Leatherette Matte Top Coat
Inspired by leatherette masks worn over Halloween. Leatherette matte top coat creates an interesting effect, it acts like a matte top coat with just a touch of shine. This touch of shine allows magnetics and metallic elements to shine through unlike super matte top coats. These metallic and extra shiney element become the spotlight of the manicure. This would be a great top coat for photos due to these properties. Shown here in 1 coat over nail art. Formula was good and applied well.

Baroness X-Acetone Antidote
Inspired by Alice In Wonderland tea party characters - some of Demetria's favorite trick or treater costumes to see.
Acetone Antidote is an additive for your acetone to protect your skin from the harshness of acetone. It contains glycerin and jojoba oil to help protect and moisturize your nails, skin, and cuticles during polish removal. Plus, no more ashy, dry skin!
Mad Tea Party is a tantalizing Baroness X house blend of Tea & Cakes fragrance mixed with chai and green apple candy give an interesting sharp, sweet note. Mad Tea Party has notes of orange pekoe and chai tea, intermingled with tart green apple candy, vanilla cupcakes and almond macarons that provides a sweetness to the blend. The tea note is not dominant in this blend, there are slight notes of amber and rosewood.
Recommended Use:
Shake the vial
Add 0.5 oz (half of the bottle) to 6-10oz of acetone. You can add the vial to more or less (down to 4oz of acetone per vial). These are just suggestions for optimal scent and protection from acetone, the ratio can vary due to personal preference.
Once the AA is added to your acetone just shake/swirl the bottle. Most scents stay blended forever, when they don't it just depends on the fragrance oil used. If you go to use it on another day, and you see it has separated just give it another shake/swirl.

Inspired by Halloween superstitions of black cats and the spooky bats that fly at night when trick or treating. Described as a vampy and mysteriously dark, dark purple almost black jelly polish filled with iridescent flakes that shift from dark blue to purple and iridescent flakes that shift from pink/red/orange/green/gold. Glisten & Glow-Glitter Grabber
Described as an amazing new product that gets applied after any glitter or flakie dense manicure is done and it’s fully dry and before your top coat. It aids in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture!
Directions:
After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have let it fully dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber on top. It’s a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry and then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitter or flakies can have.
Shown here in 1 coat over a "jelly glitter sandwich" manicure(polishes used are from brands no longer around/available) Formula was good and applied well. This is my go to Glitter smoothing topper and I stock up on it for my daily swatching. I highly recommend this if you prefer polishes that are glitter and flakey packed!

Vibrant Vinyls-Double Bond Base Coat
Inspired by Rainbow Lollipops. Scent described as a sweet swirl of lime, pineapple, orange, and raspberry on a base of vanilla. Shown here in 1 coat alone plus under nail art. Formula was good and applied well.
A 2 in 1 base coat that is formulated with proteins to fill imperfections and ridges on the surface of the nail leaving you with a smooth even base ready for polish. Many ridge filling base coats do not offer a very long wear time and they tend to chip faster. VV added their sticky bond base coat to a ridge filler to grab onto your polish and keep it there. Extended wear time, durability, and overall look.

-Packages weighing 0.0oz - 7.0oz will still be $3. Think of this as about three polishes. For most folks, this means that shipping will be just the same as it always has been. If you like to grab just a few polishes or items over the weekend, then you'll continue to pay the same $3.
-Packages weighing 7.1oz + will now ship for $5.
How does this apply to combined orders?
Don't worry, fellow chain-shoppers! This change applies to the total weight of all the orders you place over the weekend. So if you grab a polish and top coat on Friday, you can still go back and grab the waterslide decals on Monday and still stay under the $3 weight class.
Will I still get my combined shipping refunds?
Yes, absolutely! No matter what insanity the USPS engages PPU are 100% committed to keeping the combined shipping x refunds concept.
How will refunds work?
Basically the same as they always have.
If you make three purchases over the weekend, each over 7.1oz, then you will see a $10 refund later in the month.
If you place three 4oz orders over the weekend, your final shipping total will be $5. You can expect a $4 refund coming your way soon.
