Tonight I have a super spooky but fun Halloween Advent Box from Bluebird Lacquer to share with you! This carefully curated box will contain 7 full size polish items and 6 full size bath and body items. Plus, tricks, treats and surprises! In true advent fashion, each polish/product is numbered on the outside so you know which day to open or you can be me and burst them all open at once haha!
This years box is different because Bluebird will be offering two options.
Option One:
A box with polishes only that will retail for $55 plus shipping.
Option Two:
A full box containing all the polishes and bath and body items which will retail for $80 shipped in the U.S.
All Canadian orders are a flat $10 shipping USPS.

Day 1-No More Uglicles Cuticle Balm
In the scent "Anyone Want A Butterscotch?”. Scent is just like the unsung hero of hard candies; the butterscotch. Full size 0.5oz screw top tin.
Described as a black jelly with purple, green and orange metallic flakies. Shown here in 2 coats plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. If you have more of a free edge than I do then you may need 3 coats for full opacity.
Zero Thirst Soap in a zombie shape and scented in “Black Death Licorice”. This smells exactly like black licorice. The soap is made to stand up in your soap dish. It is also thermal and changes color when it is hot or cold. 2.5 oz size
Described as a slate grey crelly with a strong green-gold shifting shimmer. Shown here in 2 coats plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Dries smoothly with no texture however a top coat is still recommended for a full, glossy finish.
Day 5 - Is a secret!
Described as a black to maroon shifting multichrome with a gold halo and a scattered holo flake. Shown here in 2 coats, plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Dries smoothly with no texture however a top coat is still recommended for a full, glossy finish.
Zero Thirst Body Oil in the scent “I Vant to Suck Your Blood Orange” which is a sweet citrus with floral notes. Full size 2 oz.
Applies well and absorbs quickly without leaving you feeling greasy. Small amount goes a long way.
Described as a bright grape purple crelly with red/orange/copper shifting UCC flakies. Shown here in 2 coats, plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Dries with subtle texture so a top coat is needed for a full, glossy finish.
Described as a teal jelly base with pink and cyan magnetic pigments and scattered diamond effect. Shown here in 3 coats, plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Dries with some texture so a top coat is needed for a full, glossy finish.
I used the Arc Magnet from Lantern & Wren.
*All Magnetic Particles in a polish disperses over time, in my experience 9 times out of 10 I am unable to keep a thin, crisp line to stay put (unless using a gel magnetic polish); my photos are shown with a 20 minute dry time so the magnetic line may seem more crisp then if I were to have kept the polish on for longer.
Zero Thirst Body Butter in the scent "Witches Brew" which is a special house blend of snips, snails and salamander tails. This mystery scent has spicy hints of ginger with sweet vanilla bean and that’s all Lou will say!
Described as a dark green(cold) to kelly green(cool) to lime green(Warm) shifting tri-thermal packed with gold/red/green shifting iridescent flakies. Shown here in 2 coats, plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Dries with subtle texture so a top coat is needed for a full, glossy finish.
Bluebird created a seasonal hair scrunchie just for the advent box. It will come in a variety of fabrics!
