Hello Sweeties! It's time for Polish Pickup August 2021!

If you don't already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group where makers create a polish/product based on a certain theme and all of the polishes/products are sold in the Polish Pickup store at the beginning of each month. Customers then get to pick which polishes/products they want and pay a flat rate shipping of $3(US)!

Aurora Nail Lacquer-I See Fire

Baby Girl Lacquer-Water On Mars 2.0

Inspired by the mention of water being found on Mars. Described as a teal green/blue polish with a huge flakies assortment, as well as a touch of holo and iridescent blue/purple/violet shimmer. Shown here in 3 coats, plus top coat. Formula was sheer but built up pretty well. Dries with subtle texture so a top coat is needed for a full, glossy finish.

Baby Girl Lacquer-Glitter Be Gone! Peel Off Base Coat

Love glitter, but you're beyond sick of the tedious removal problems?! Wanna know how you can pop off whole, glitter applications, without damaging your nail beds? It's way easier than you think! Baby Girl Lacquers unique concoction dries fast and you can easily peel off the glitter polish when you're ready. They are not the originators of POBCs, but they have said they tweaked their formula just a little. Use 2 coats for best results. Dries matte when it's time to proceed with polish.

Shown here in 2 coats alone as well as under polish. It lasted about a day for me with numerous hand washing and 1 shower but then I had to remove it to start my next round of swatching.

'Pink Starburst'. Scent described as a sweet, ripe honeydew, hints of kiwi and mandarin. Followed with Watermelon and cherry notes with the tiniest hint of cassis. Rounding off this fragrance is a sugared musk bottom note with a shot of tart apricot. Smells just like a Pink Starburst candy.

Limitless is a 5 Free Scented Quick Dry Top Coat. This formula has a beautiful gloss that lasts for days. As an artist, you can now apply your top coat without the worry of smearing by using the floating method. Non shrinking, dries to a rock hard, glossy finish and keeps your mani protected and long lasting.

Katia explained that different top coats create different effects on the polish. So I tried it with a regular fast dry top coat(Glisten & Glow - index & pinky nails) as well as a water based top coat (Apipila Smudge Free top coat - middle & ring nails). However, I have spoke with a couple others who swatched it and we all had different effects with the different top coats. In my experience after about 10 minutes of dry time the shimmer did get stronger with a water based top coat, and the fast dry I used did dull that shimmer some. My suggestion is to just test all your top coats and see what works best for you since we all seem to have different experiences swatching it.
