Hello Sweeties! It's time for Polish Pickup March 2021!

If you don't already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group where makers create a polish/product based on a certain theme and all of the polishes/products are sold in the Polish Pickup store at the beginning of each month. Customers then get to pick which polishes/products they want and pay a flat rate shipping of $3(US)!

The March 2021 theme is Spring-Birds, Bee's & Butterflies!

Anchor & Heart Lacquer-Spread Your Wings & Fly Butterfly

Inspired by Mariah Carey’s 1997 Album Butterfly. Described as a copper tinted ultra holographic base with copper, gold, tan, caramel and rose gold glitter in various shapes, sizes and finishes. Can also be used as a Topper.

Shown here in 3 coats, plus top coat. Formula was sheer but builds up well. Can be worn as a topper. Dries with some texture so a top coat is needed for a full, glossy finish.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer-Mermaid Tears

“Fly Away”. Scent described as a light fruity, floral fusion featuring mandarin slices, pink berries, sheer water lily, tuberose, white peach and lily of the valley warmed with subtle notes of amber, musk and sandalwood.

Mermaid Tears is a deep nutrition base & rehab treatment. It can be used as a base coat, or on it's own as a 3 week treatment for brittle or weak nails. The moisturizing formula contains a smoothing complex to seal down Keratin cells, and amino acids to help stimulate the formation of new Keratin cells while the weak sections grow out

Apipila Cosmetics-Mixing Plate

Described as a serializable plate for mixtures of products such as nail polish, nail gel, glitter, pigments ect. This Mix Plate can be used as a basis for creating effects like stamped gradients, stamped marbles ect. by using the square and the circle engraved in the corners. The measuring line on the bottom right corner can be used to measure the length and width of nails for decals and such.
*The plate itself can not be used to create decals, the nails polish will stick to the plate.

Inspired by the butterfly symbolism of transformation/rebirth. Color scheme is based on a particularly beautiful swallowtail butterfly, that has wings that fade from gold to fuchsia to burgundy to bright blue. Described as a deep fuchsia/burgundy jelly polish packed with UCC and glitter flakies.

Inspired by The Bee Hummingbird, which is the smallest bird in the world at only 2-2.5" fully grown, and native to Cuba. Described as a slightly greyed white crelly with scattered holo sparkle, aqua/indigo shimmer, blue-violet-copper and violet-pink-gold UCC flakes, plus holo micro flakes.

Inspired by the Gouldian Finch. Described as a white crelly with a subtle pastel purple shimmer and magenta, neon pink, navy, green, blue, aquamarine and peach glitters in various shapes and sizes.

Shown here in 3 coats, plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. If you have no or minimal free edge you could probably get away with just 2 coats. Dries with a good amount of texture so I sealed this with 1 coat of Glitter Grabber plus 1 coat of a fast dry top coat.

Inspired by a photo of a Ringlet Butterfly resting on purple flowers. Described as a warm amber to violet purple multi chrome base with red/gold color shifting glitter, orange microglitter and chameleon flakes in purple, gold, and green.

Inspired by the Red Spotted Butterfly. Described as a navy jelly base with orange/green shifting iridescent glitters, neon orange dots, neon yellow orange dots, and shifting ultra chrome flakes.

Cuticula Nail Lacquer-Scented Limitless Quick Dry Top Coat

'Raspberry Sugar'. Scent described as a Juicy, candy fruity with top notes of long lasting sugary sweets, bottom notes of scrumptious sweet-as-candy blend of sugared raspberries, hints of plum and tiny little hints of floral. Personally, this scent reminded me of a sweet and sour raspberry candy, it smells delicious!

Limitless is a 5 Free Scented Quick Dry Top Coat. This formula has a beautiful gloss that lasts for days. As an artist, you can now apply your top coat without the worry of smearing by using the floating method. Non shrinking, dries to a rock hard, glossy finish and keeps your mani protected and long lasting.

DRK Nails-Crejoá

Inspired by the Creojá, a species of bird in the family Cotingidae. It is endemic to the south-east of Brazil. Described as a flakie bomb in a bright blue jelly. It has large and small particles of Aurora pigment, 3 different colors of iridescent flakes, 2 pastel flakes and 1 chrome flake.

Inspired by the beautiful peacock that Jill’s Bestie has come to visit her property in Florida on a regular basis. Described as a medium green with blue shimmer, blue/green/gold iridescent flakes, aqua/blue chrome flakes and rainbow crystal flakes.

Glisten & Glow is offering their Cuticle Remover Pen and Cuticle Oil Pen Duo in the scent of “Citrus Refresher”. Scent described as a wonderful blend of orange, lemon and lime. A bright, bold and crisp scent.

Cuticle Remover:

Softens and removes excess cuticle as well as eponychium skin and comes in an easy to use twist-up pen style applicator.

Apply generously to the cuticle area and let sit for 1 minute. Next, gently push back your cuticle with your favorite tool. Lastly, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water and apply your Glisten & Glow cuticle oil. Contains distilled water, potassium hydroxide, coconut oil and fragrance.

Cuticle Oil Pen:

A custom blend of jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, argon oil, castor oil, açaí berry extract, tea tree oil and fragrance oil.

KBshimmer-With The Band

Flock, gaggle, flamboyance, herd; groups of birds have interesting names. One that Christy finds most amusing is the term for a group of pigeons: a band! One of the most beautiful pigeons is the Nicobar pigeon, the closest living relative to the now-extinct dodo. Deep blue in color with vibrant plumage that shines in iridescent blues, coppers, and greens, the Nicobar pigeon sports a rainbow of metallic-like feathers. Described as a deep, navy blue jelly nail polish with Bold color-shifting flakes that mimic the feathers of the Nicobar pigeon, with hues of red, orange, yellow, and green showing as you change your viewing angle. At certain angles, hints of aqua come out to play, especially in lower lighting, which will also show off the flakes best.

KBShimmer-Restoration Drops Polish Thinner

Over time, nail polish can get thick and stringy. This is due to the evaporation of Butyl Acetate and Ethyl Acetate, two of the main ingredients in all nail polishes that help the polish to dry on your nails.

To restore thick polish, use KBShimmer’s polish thinner, Restoration Drops. For slightly thickened polish, start with 2-3 drops, shake, then check the consistency. Repeat until you are happy with the result. For dried out or severely thickened polish, KBShimmer suggests that you fill the bottle with thinner to the fill line, let it sit overnight, and then shake in the morning. You may need to use a toothpick or paperclip to stir, allowing the thinner to reach the bottom of the bottle. As always, it's highly suggested that you clean the necks of the polish bottles after use to allow a good seal, this will reduce polish evaporation in the long run. To prevent evaporation of the thinner, store with the regular top.

Please note: Glitter polishes are generally thicker than cream polishes. The use of too much thinner can reduce the suspension properties of glitter polishes. Always start with 2-3 drops and only use what is needed to restore polish to its original consistency.

Inspired by the common pigeon which Amanda said she absolutely had to use as her inspiration because Pigeon is her maiden name. When she was a little girl her dad called her a “Smidgen of a Pigeon” and has gone on to call each of her kids the same during their baby years. Described as a grey with green/purple shifting shimmer and purple magnetic pull.
