Hello Sweeties!
During my swatch break in May I realized just how much I miss doing nail art. When I first started CDB Nails over 7 years ago nail art was what I started with and it was my true passion and something I started to do as a form to relax and release stress and then over time my blog kind of morphed into just being polish and nail product reviews. That wasn't my intention of course but it is what it is. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy swatching but I very much miss just sitting and creating tiny little pieces of art on my nails every now and then.
So a few months back I came across a fun nail art challenge on Instagram and decided I would try joining it to help with nail art motivation as well as inspiration. The info for this challenge is at the bottom of this post if anyone else is interested in joining!
First prompt for the month was Palm Trees and here is my mani.

I started with a white base. I then sponged on the yellow, orange, pink and purple gradient. Once dry, I stamped on the palm tree design using a black stamping polish. I also free hand painted the little umbrella, chair and person with black acrylic paint. Sealed it all with a fast dry top coat.
