Hey guys!!! Its been almost a week since my last post! I needed a little break from nail things for a bit so that I could reboot and also spend some time with family for the Holidays. But I'm back and feeling refreshed!
Today I have a review on a couple stamping plates as well as stamping polishes from a new to me brand, It Girl Nail Art. It Girl Nail Art is a shop on etsy that mainly focuses on Stamping plates and supplies as well as cuticle oils. I was sent one large plate and one mini plate. The mini plate is 6cm long by 4cm wide, approximately 2.4 x 1.6 inches. The large plate is 12cm long by 6cm wide, and each design has a large image area of 2.25cm square. Read on for more info!
I created the mani below using the mini plate. IG303 $4.50
Polishes Used:
Bliss Polish-No Name Yet(gray blue cream)
AEngland-Saint George(Teal Holo)

Love, Angeline-Topped with Love Top Coat
My Thoughts:
The plate was etched very well. The lines were so thin that when I first seen it I was a little nervous I would have a hard time getting the images to lift and transfer but as you can see from the photo above, It worked perfectly.

My Thoughts on the plate:
I think the patterns were fun and etched well. The squares are bigger then usual stamping plates which is nice for the ladies with longer nails.
My Thoughts on the Stamping Polish:
I was sent two stamping polishes, a black and a spearmint green. The black is not pictured or used in any of these photos as something wasn't right with my bottle. It was very thin and separated and no matter what I did it wouldn't mix. I addressed this issue with the maker and she said she hasn't had any issues before and would send me another to test. The Spearmint green one worked perfectly well, and I was thrilled with how opaque and bright it was over a dark almost black green(tree mani)

I do find the prices of the plates a bit higher then what I am used to seeing for their sizes, But the designs on the plates themselves are etched really well and don't look copied like most plates do. I think the prices of the stamping polishes are great($7) and plan on purchasing more of the pastel colored ones to see if they also stamp over dark polishes because that would be amazing! haha!
