Sassy Pants n' Friends Box | Fall Foliage

Today I have the fifth box from the monthly series of Sassy Pants 'n' Friends trios in which two featured brands will collab with Sassy Pants Polish to create a fun themed trio. This month's theme is "Fall Foliage" which is inspired by the beautiful fall colors. Brands joining Angie this month are Turtle Tootsie Polishes and Pretty Beautiful.

Sassy Pants Polish-Crimson Cranberry

Description:

Described as a rich cranberry linear holo polish.

Formula & Application:

I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied easily. It's described as a Linear Holo but in my opinion it's more of a scattered holo. The prism wasnt very strong like linear holos are but it may show differently for others.

Sassy Pants Polish Extra:

A cuticle balm that had the scent of "northwoods". A musky outdoor scent. My favorite season is fall and this scent is perfect for that time of year. Reminded me of sitting around a campfire on a nice brisk cool night with the scent of leaves around me.

Turtle Tootsie Polish-Autumn Embers

Description:

Described as a coppery holographic polish with gold flakies.

Application & Formula:

I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied well. It is a frosty type finish so you have to be careful with your brushstrokes to make even stroke lines. I didn't really get too many of the gold flakies during application but I was okay with the random flecks of them instead of it being packed tight.

Pretty Beautiful-Crushed Leaves

Description:

Described as a white crelly base with scattered holo and micro-flakies, red, orange, yellow, green and garnet glitters in numerous shapes and sizes.

Formula & Application:

I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied well. I didn't have to fish for glitters but I did have to do a bit of dabbing to get an even distribution of them onto the nail.

Pretty Beautifuls Extra:

Two small baggies of nail decor. One with monochrome studs in different sizes. the other is a of little chrome leaves that match her polish perfectly. Check out the manis below to see them in use.

Overall, I think all three definitely represent the upcoming fall season. My personal favorite is the crelly, Crushed Leaves because I am a serious sucker for crelly polishes!
