In Honor of Ane Li

Hello Loves! As most of you may know the nail community lost an amazing member at the beginning of the month. The beautiful and incredibly talented Ane Li.

For a couple years this young lady posted beautiful nail art and also shared how to do them on her youtube, https://www.youtube.com/user/nailsbyaneli . Like myself she was a huge acrylic nail art painter except she made it look so easy! haha she was unbelievably talented and it is so sad to know that someone with such a big heart and talent has left our world. 

To show our love and respect for her the nail community has come together today to post recreated manis of Ane Li's designs. My bestie Rose and I decided to do this together and this is what we created.

We wanted to create something that showed her love and beauty and thought these bright flowers were great for that.

The rumor going around was that sadly Ane Li suffered from depression and chose to leave. This is what her sister had to say:

"Ane Li's sister, have noticed that there has been some speculation going on around Ane's death, and it is with an extremely heavy heart I confirm that she chose to leave us July 11 2016. She has always been a wonderful girl and she will be deeply missed. The funeral will take place on Monday the 25th. If you are in the area at that time, feel free to join us to say a last goodbye. More info regarding the funeral is to be found on the Facebook page: Til minne om Ane Li Rusten Jacobsen, meaning "In memory of..." I have also seen that some of you are planning to share recreations of her designs on July 25th using the hashtag #sharingtheloveforaneli. That is very much appreciated by us as a family. We also want to thank you for your condolences. Take care❤️"

This hit close to home for myself and I ache for her and her family. Suffering from depression is a very scary and unpredictable thing and I don't wish it upon anyone. Sometimes our minds get the better of us though. I pray she has found her piece and knows that everyone loved her and that so many people will miss her and her beautiful art work.
