Hello loves! Today I have my "Inspired by Wrapping Paper" prompt for 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art to share with you. I had no idea what to do for this prompt so I waited until I purchased my wrapping paper this past weekend. I actually picked out this wrapping paper strictly so I could use it as inspiration for this prompt! haha Well, here it is!
The wrapping paper has that paper bag like texture to it which I loved and it reminded me of the classic type wrapping paper. I just loved the muted coloring to it and the simple yet elegant tone it gave, and of course the Santa was too freaking adorable! I got this at The Christmas Tree Shop for $3.99/80 sq. ft if anyone is interested! lol
I used CDB Lacquer Tranquility as my base. I then made snow flake decals using plate FairyTale-003 from HĒHĒ, which I was sent for review.
The plate is a large plate full of snowflakes as well as some beautiful snowflake lace type patterns! You can check it out here!
I then did the red and nude lace by making more decals using plate BP-L008 from the Born Pretty Store. I free hand painted the Santa using acrylic paint and the brush Pure Color #10 from Whats Up Nails. Sealed it all with a Matte top coat.
