Hello Loves! Today I have a fun Halloween themed collaboration to share with you made by Jior Couture and Green Goddess Creations. First we have a 6 polish collection called "Ladies of Fright". All polishes are all named after female witches, ghouls, demons etc. Jior Couture polishes are cruelty and 5 free (No Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor).

Jior Couture-Baby Yaga

Baby Yaga is a green scattered holo polish glow in the Dark polish. I applied three thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was on the thin side but built up nicely by the third coat. Sadly I couldn't the glow in the dark aspect to last long enough to take a photo.

"Baba Yaga is a supernatural being (or one of a trio of sisters of the same name) who appears as a deformed and/or ferocious-looking woman. Baba Yaga flies around in a mortar, wields a pestle, and dwells deep in the forest in a hut usually described as standing on chicken legs (or sometimes a single chicken leg).[1] Baba Yaga may help or hinder those that encounter or seek her out. She sometimes plays a maternal role, and also has associations with forest wildlife. Jior Couture-Lamia

Lamia is a charcoal gray jelly that consist of holo glitters in numerous sizes. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Again the formula was a bit thin but easy to apply. The tiny micro glitters transfer onto the nail easily but I did have to do some fishing for the larger glitters.

Jior Couture-Pontianak

Pontianak is a a blood red jelly with red holo glitters in numerous sizes. I applied three coats and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula is good and applied well. No fishing needed for the glitters. Dries to a nice squishy jelly like finish.

"The pontianak is a vampiric ghost in Malay and Indonesian mythology. It is also known as a matianak or kuntilanak, sometimes shortened to kunti. The pontianak are said to be the spirits of women who died while pregnant."-Wikipedia

Jior Couture-Harionago

Harionago is a brownish black jelly with red holo micro glitters. I applied two coats for full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Great formula and applied easily. No fishing needed for the glitters.

"Harionago is a "frightening female ghoul" in Japanese mythology. Her name literally meaning "Barbed woman"[citation needed] the Harionago is said to be a beautiful woman with extremely long hair tipped with thorn-like barbs, Her hair is under her "direct control, and she uses it to ensnare men. She is said to wander the roads of the Japanese prefecture of Ehime on the island of Shikoku. When she finds a young man, she will laugh at him, and if the young man dares to laugh back, Harionago will drop her terrible, barbed hair and attack."-Wikipedia

Jior Couture-Rusalka
Rusalka is a deep plum jelly with orange and gold micro glitters. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was great and applied easily. No fishing needed for the glitters.

"Rusalka is a is a water nymph, a female spirit in Slavic mythology and folklore. The term is commonly translated from Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian as "mermaid". is an unquiet, dangerous being who is no longer alive, associated with the unclean spirit. According to Dmitry Zelenin, young women, who either committed suicide by drowning due to an unhappy marriage or who were violently drowned against their will, must live out their designated time on earth as rusalki."-Wikipedia

Jior Couture-Aswang

Aswang is a dark orange/red to clear thermal with gold/purple shifting flakies. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied easily. No fishing needed for the flakies and the the transition was great.

Spanish colonists noted that the Aswang was the most feared among the mythical creatures of the PhilippinesSometimes this creature is called the "bal-bal" or ghoul (maninilong in Catanauan, Quezon), which replaces the cadaver with banana trunks after consumption. Aswang stories and definitions vary greatly from region to region and person to person, and no particular set of characteristics can be ascribed to the term. Overall, The Ladies of Fright Collection is a fun and the colors are great for Halloween as well as Fall. My personal favorites are Aswang(thermal) and Rusalki.
