Nothing to Disclose
Hey guys! I hope everyone had a good weekend? Mine was great minus witnessing my best friend and his daughter get into a bad car accident! Luckily they were both okay, feeling sore but nothing serious! But the other driver did have a bad head injury which was scary(wasn't wearing a seat belt and was speeding)! Scared the crap out of me and I keep seeing it replay in my head like I was actually in the accident myself (been there and done that and not fun whatsoever!) His daughter is like my own kid(If you follow me on IG you have seem me post about her numerous times, way back in the beginning of my nail adventures she was my nail art guinea pig! haha) So I was really scared for her but like I said they are both okay, she was a bit traumatized by it but she'll be okay<3
Anyways, enough with the negative but onto the positive! Prior to the accident I spent my entire day Saturday at Dave and Busters with them as well as my hubs and little brother. It was my first time going and OMG! Man I was missing out, can't believe it took us that long to finally go there! So much fun and such a stress relief! I'm a bit of a gamer nerd so an adult arcade is like therapy lmao! If you have never gone you should see if one is in your area and go! It's so much fun!

So, today I have Day 1 and Day 2 (I combined them) of this months "30 Days of Colour" challenge. Due to having to get some swatching done and posted I had to combine otherwise I would have missed a day and I am determined to get all 30 days completed!
Day 1 is "Red" and Day 2 is "Yellow". Now usually people do this challenge to go through their untried polishes but I didn't have either colors in my untried rack so I decided on some art and this is what I came up with!
As soon as I seen the red and yellow prompts directly one right after the other on the list I immediately thought of The Wizard of Oz because of the yellow brick road and the ruby red slippers! This was the image I used as my reference.
This is completely freehand and took me about two and a half hours. I'm happy with it and only thing I wish could have been different was a bit more length on my nails for better detail but otherwise I love it and wore it for 4 days! That's a record for me lately! haha
Polishes & Products Used:
Stardust Polish-Miss Scarlet
Bad Bitch Polish-Cat's Eye
Glisten and Glow-Glossy Top Coat
Pure Color #10 paint brush
Acrylic Paint
Sadly, there is no tutorial for this mani. I still have yet to figure out how to record myself doing my detailed acrylic paint manis. I hold my hand in so many wonky positions when doing these type of manis that when I try to record, half the video my nails are either blurry or not even in the frame at all! =/ I seriously need to figure that out though because I would love to share that process with you all! Until then how would you guys feel about me doing a pictorial type tutorial for these types of manis?
Well I hope you guys enjoy it! Did you do anything fun this past weekend? XO
