TGIF!
Today I have the second half of the Zoya Summer 2015 Collection, Paradise Sun. This collection consist of 5 frosty metallic flakie counter parts to the Island Fun collection as well as a pearl white with the same finish. I will be honest, I wasn't too excited about this half of the collection because I feel like metallic sheen polishes look awful with my skin tone but all 6 of these babies proved that wrong and opened my eyes to a whole different side of polish I usually veer away from. Check out all this summer metallic flakie goodness! haha
Genesis is described as crystalline white with a micronized metallic pearl finish. I used three thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. This is the only one from this set that needed three coats because like a lot of white polishes the second coat still looked a little patchy and streaky. This reminded me of some sort of coconut flavored drink with sugar around the rim of the glass haha. I think this will also be perfect for winter manis!

Zoya-Isa
Isa is described as a deep blue-based purple with a micronized metallic pearl finish with an aqua flash. I used two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was a little thinner then expected but I didn't have any flooding issues. I really enjoyed the blue flecks that make the purple even more vibrant. My camera had a hard time capturing this one because of its intensity haha!

Zoya-Mae
Mae is described as warm magenta pink with a micronized metallic pearl finish. I used two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was great and applied easily. It almost had a jelly like formula without the transparency.
****
Zoya-Selene
Selene is described as a true teal with a micronized metallic pearl finish. I used two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was a bit thicker then the rest and I probably could have gotten away with one coat. This one also had a more metallic finish rather then a pearl. Just like its counter part in the Island Fun collection, this is my favorite.

Zoya-Aphrodite
Aphrodite is described as a vibrant summer red with a micronized pearl metallic finish. I used two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. This had the same formula and application as Mae. Applied very well and had a jelly like formula without the transparency.

Zoya-Oceane
Oceane is described as a true turquoise with a micronized metallic pearl finish. I used two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Unlike its counter part 'Talia' this did not leave any staining behind.

I am pretty satisfied with all six polishes and didn't really have any issues at all. I think the metallic flakes brought a whole new twist to the usual summer colors and finishes.
Each of these polishes are sold for $9 each on Zoya website and some stores! For more info please check out the links below! Thanks for swinging by! Don't forget to check out yesterdays post for the first half of the Zoya Summer 2015 collection, Island Fun!
