Hello my fellow Nail Crazies!
Yay! It's finally the weekend! woo hoo! haha This has been one long week for me! I had swatching packages up to my shoulders this week hence being a bit MIA on here as well as my IG. In order to keep up with them all I had to swatch all them first and then write the blog reviews all this weekend. I hate screwing with my blogging schedule but had no choice this week. Anyways lets get right to it!
Today I have the Supernatural Ladies collection sent to me by Supernatural Lacquer. I'm a huge fan of the Supernatural tv show so of course I couldn't wait to try these babies out!
First up is Meg 2.0. Meg 2.0 is a white/very pale pink crelly with pink and purple glitters in numerous sizes. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. The formula was good and applied well, no fishing was needed. This was my favorite crelly of the bunch. This polish is themed around the Demon Meg, who at first you hate with a passion but then learn to love! haha
Next is Charlie. Charlie is a light blue crelly with white and orange glitters in different shapes and sizes including triangles. I used 3 thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and polish itself applied well but fishing was needed for the triangle and rectangle glitters. This polish is inspired by Charlie, A genius gamer girl who the Winchester boys have to save a couple times and she eventually joins them for a bit. She is by far my favorite female from Supernatural.
Third is Ellen. Ellen is a sheer pale yellow jelly with black and iridescent glitters including hearts. I used 3 thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formulas was good and applied well, very little fishing needed. This was my favorite polish from the collection. This polish is inspired by Ellen, who was like the mother hen to the Winchester boys and also the actual mother to Jo.
Next up is Jo. Jo is a pinkish purple crelly with blue, orange, pink and white glitters in numerous shapes and sizes. I used 3 thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good but fishing was needed for the larger glitters. This polish is inspired by Jo, the badass female hunter who has a bit of a romance with one of our favorite Supernatural guys, Dean.
Fifth is Mary. Mary is a light aqua glitter topper with white, yellow and aqua glitters in numerous shapes and sizes including triangles. I used I dabbing coat over a pastel aqua undie and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied pretty easy, very little fishing was needed. This polish is inspired by Sam and Deans mother.
Last from the collection is Ruby. Ruby is a burnt red jelly with red, black and holo silver glitters in numerous shapes and sizes including stars. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Applied well but some fishing was needed for the stars. This polish inspired by my favorite female demon, Ruby. Man the roller-coaster ride of emotions with this character, you love her, you hate her, you love her, you hate her and so on! haha!
Overall, all 6 polishes were fun and pretty easy to work with. I do wish I didnt have to fish so much for the larger glitters but otherwise the formulas were good! Right now Supernatural Lacquer is closed while shes on vacation so go follow the links below to be up to date on restock and reopen dates!
