Happy Hump Day My Fellow Nail Crazies!
We are half way through what feels like a crazy long week! Anyone else feeling that way today? My weekend flew by way too fast! Anywho, today I have some swatches and reviews from a Indie brand that I have loved since I first joined this nail community. The first indie polish I ever bought was from them. The indie I'm talking about is Bliss Polish. All of Bliss Polish polishes are 5-Free(do not contain camphor, toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) or formaldehyde resins) and ships to the US & Canada.
The polishes Ill be sharing with you are of 3 polishes my nail mail bestie sent me and 1 of them is the first indie polish I was talking about above.
First up is Jax. Jax is a charcoal gray holo polish. It dries to a smooth matte finish but can also be worn with a glossy top coat.(I show both below). I use 2 thin coats to achieve full opacity. The formula is great and it applies very well and evenly. This is the first indie polish I ever owned and the polish that sucked me into this hobby of swatching and reviewing polishes. The one that started it all! haha I am still inlove with this polish and actually sparingly use it because I'm afraid to run out haha! This polish is just one from the 7 polish Sons of Anarchy collection. Right now it is sold out but if it comes back in stock you can purchase it for $8.00
Picture below shows its matte finish without a top coat.
Next up is Radiant. Radiant is an orchid holo polish. I used 2 thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was pretty similar to Jax where it dried to an almost matte finish. It applied very good as well. I love the color of this, It was a lot brighter in person! You can purchase this polish for $8.00
Next is Like Totally. Like Totally is a bright lime green holo polish. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity. Formula was great and applied well. This is now one of my favorite neon green holos! The way the holo reflects in this neon polish is spectacular! Perfect for the summer! Sadly, by the looks of it this is no longer available in her shop.
Last is Gleaming. Gleaming is an aqua thermal that is light aqua when warm and darker aqua when cold. It has iridescent micro flakes and gold flakes throughout. I used 3 coats and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied very well. I don't know if it was just me or the polish but the thermal change was very subtle, I couldn't really get it to change to a darker aqua. I tried cold water as well as an ice pack and still couldn't accomplish a huge change. The color was still super pretty though, it actually reminded me of the movie Frozen.
Here are some nail art manis I did using these polishes.
Overall, I loved all the polishes. I do wish the thermal change for Gleaming was more prominent but like I said It could have just been me.
