Hello My fellow Nail Crazies!
Ugh, It's Monday again! yuk! My husband was on vacation from work all last week so this week is going to drag. Trying to get back into our normal routine is going to be hard haha Ah well, I have another set of beauties from Little Nail Girl Lacquer that I'm happy to share with you today! It is called the "Candy Shop" Collection! You know what that means ladies, It's food themed which means I was really excited to get right into swatching these pretties! haha Me and my silly obsession with food named polishes! Shh don't judge me! lol
First up is Lollipop. Lollipop is bright orchid creme polish with a very soft iridescent shimmer.
I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with GlistenandGlow top coat. Formula, consistency and application was great. It applied very evenly and smooth. I loved the blue shimmer the iridescent shimmer created on this orchid pink, really makes it pop more. So did anyone else start singing "We represent the Lollipop kids, the lollipop kids..." No? just me? okay cool...haha!
Next up is Chocoholic. Chocoholic is a medium brown glitter bomb polish packed tight with shifting rainbow ultrafine glitters.
I used 3 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with GlistenandGlow top coat. Formula and consistency is good. Application was good and applied easily. This glitter polish almost has a pearlescent look to it once you apply the glossy top coat. I wouldn't think a brown polish with rainbow glitters would look good but this polish definitely proved me wrong. I'm not a huge fan of brown polishes but the glitters in it made me love it! And of course the name is perfect because well, let's face it, I'm a chocoholic! Even though I'm not supposed to eat it! shhh!
Last is Cotton Candy. Cotton Candy is a pastel blue creme polish.
I used 4 thin coats to achieve full opacity and then sealed it with GlistenandGlow top coat. The formula was a lot thinner then what I'm used to with LNG polishes so it needed more coats then usual. Still a very pretty baby blue polish though and once dried it had this smooth as butter finish. Name again fits it perfectly, it looks just like the color of cotton candy. Now I want to go to a carnival or fair for some cotton candy...and every other carnival food! mmm food! haha I probably shouldn't have written this food themed polish post on an empty stomach haha!
I also wanted to share this cute mani I did using both LNG polishes. A lot of LNG polishes are great for stamping which is a huge plus in my book! This is Harley over Lollipop.
Overall I give this trio a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I loved every polish but the cotton candy formula was a bit runny and made it harder to apply. You can purchase this limited edition collection for $24 now! Grab yours while you can!
Until Next time!
