Happy Thursday My fellow nail crazies!
One more day and this long week will be over and time for 2 days with my hubs. I barely see him Mon-Fri due to both our schedules, boo! Its okay though because I have polishes like the ones I'm sharing with you today to make me happy!
Today's review is another collection by the super sweet Danyl over at Duh Nail Polish. This collection is called "Tasty Treats" and it consist of 4 yummy crellys. It's named after food people! My loyal blog readers know what that means! I'm pretty obsessed with polishes themed around food and these babies did not disappoint! Let's dig in!
First up we have Berry Fancy. Berry Fancy is a deep violet crelly with dark blue hexes as well as small holo rainbow glitter. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with Glossy Glam top coat. You all know purple is my favorite color polish to wear and here's another beauty added to that list. I loved how the holo rainbow glitters really made it pop in the sunlight (sadly my camera wouldn't capture its true sparkly beauty) The formula was great and applied very well.
Second is Two Scoops Please. Two Scoops Please is a white crellys with pastel blue, pink and yellow glitters. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with Glossy Glam top coat. I also used "Trust" by Charlies Rad Lacquer on my accent nail. This one looks like vanilla ice-cream with candy sprinkles! Mmm, now I want some ice-cream! The color of the glitters in this polish actually make me think of a baby-shower lol The blues, pinks and yellows are perfect for a baby shower party, right?! Again, formula was great, applied well and better yet, no fishing was needed.
Next is She's Just Peachy. She's Just Peachy is a peach crelly with tiny ultrafine glitters as well as small dark pink glitters. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with Glossy Glam top coat. I also used "You Are So Outta Lime" by O.P.I on my accent nail. Super cute color and the glitters made the polish resemble a peach perfectly. Formula and application were great.
Last up is Melon Mashup. Melon Mashup is a pinkish coral crelly with tiny black glitters as well as small green hexes and yellow squares. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with Glossy Glam top coat. This is my favorite from the collection. I'm not big fan of pink polishes but I do love me some coral shades! This was legit a mashed-up watermelon in a polish bottle! Formula and application once again were spot on!
Overall, I loved this collection! Danyl never seems to disappoint whenever I get sent swatch mail and she is always consistent with her formulas. I almost never have a negative thing to say about her polishes. Because of this I have finally pulled my bestie over to the duh nail polish dark side and now she has added a bunch of her polishes to her wish list for me to pick up for her haha! She will not regret that move!
This collection will be available tomorrow, Friday the 25th. So be sure to go follow Duh Nail Polish on IG to be kept up to date with releases and other info!
Until Next Time!
